Governing Council

The School Governing Council members are elected at an Annual General Meeting each year. Regular meetings are held throughout the year. Members of the School Governing Council consist of parents, teachers and principals.

The main functions of the Council are to discuss school policies, curriculum, maintenance of school grounds and to oversee school budget and planning directions.

Parent input is very important to us and we welcome and encourage new members to join our Governing Council to share their opinions and have input into the way Barmera Primary operates. Our Governing Council is a welcoming group who listen to and support each other.
